I am an old woman, in terms of my career. I can accept my age, but I could do without all the aches and pains all my years of working has inflicted on me. I am proud to be an "Old /school" dancin' girl, but I am just now finding out who I am as Woman.
Thank you for your kind words and for visiting my blog a bit ago! They mean so much!
ReplyDeleteHaving spent 30 years giving my all each and every shift to help build 3 million cars or so, the idea that they could reneg on the promises they made with the stroke of a pen still astounds me. While I knew I would still be working somewhere else to supplement that pension, I hadn't counted on having to worry about it being pulled out from under me!
As you said, I fear that the days when we were self sufficient as a nation are rapidly disappearing. When the ability to manufacture what we need is gone, we are at the mercy of whichever nation can!
Thank you for brightening my day, not just with your visit to my blog, but your posts here and your comments elsewhere! There are some wonderful people in this Universe and I'm always grateful to meet another one!
